Yavapai County, Public Workshop

Community Water Quality Workshop

Arizona Water for All is excited to host a free workshop in Cottonwood, Arizona, as part of a continued effort to support communities on private wells, especially those people who did not get the opportunity to participate in our water quality study. This will be a space to learn about water quality in Yavapai County and various treatment options, so folks have the information needed to make an informed decision that aligns with their household needs.

We are no longer able to offer comprehensive well water testing to the extent as before; however, information about a limited well water testing program by our partners, the Rural Community Assistance Corporation, will be provided at the workshop.

Workshop Goals:

  • Provide an overview of Yavapai County's water quality.

  • Provide technical guidance and information about treatment options, including filters.

  • Inform attendees of best practices for maintaining water treatment systems.

  • Address concerns and questions of attendees.

  • Provide information about a well water testing program.

👥  Who Can Join? 👥

  • Participation is open to anyone who lives in Yavapai County.

📍 When and Where Will the Workshop Be? 📍

  • The workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 20 from 5pm to 7:30pm at the Cottonwood Recreation Center, 150 S 6th St, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
