Our Partners

What does it mean to be an AW4A Network partner?

AW4A Network partners support the goals of the Arizona Water For All Program. Our partnerships include organizations and people invested in securing access to water resources and represent community interests related to water security for all of Arizona.

We continuously seek to engage multiple young and seasoned social actioners (community leaders and residents, researchers, practitioners) from diverse backgrounds and organizations in our activities.

Ways our partners are involed

The AW4A network will develop activities within and across the three central nodes, facilitated by each of the three partnering universities (ASU, UofA, and NAU). Those can include:

  • The exchange of experiences and knowledge (within and across nodes) on addressing water insecurity at a broad level supports water-insecure communities across the state.

  • Partnerships under AW4A, based on collaboration between water experts and community members, to address water insecurity

  • Community-based collaborative research on themes related to water insecurity

  • Training of the next generation of researchers on how to engage with diverse community actors and institutions for the advancement of water security

  • Hosting outreach programs in water-insecure communities to increase knowledge and local participation in water-related decision-making.
