The Arizona Water Innovation Exhibit opened in Tucson, AZ on April 4th at Watershed Management Group's Living Lab. The event complimented the Palo Verde Neighborhood Association's Art in the Gardens where there was live music, art, and vendors alongside informative panels of Arizona's water history, present, and future.
Thank you to the teams at Watershed Management Group, the University of Arizona Center for Regional Food Studies, and the Arizona Water for All Network at ASU Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory. |

| Audubon Southwest’s new report, The Economic Impact of Arizona’s Rivers, Lakes, and Streams, found that water‑based recreation in Arizona generates $11.7 billion for Arizona’s economy and supports more than 72,000 jobs across the state, with those jobs paying annual wages of nearly $4 billion. Arizona’s waterways are central to our culture, history, and way of life. We must protect these invaluable places by restoring watersheds and wildlife habitat, and by implementing smart policies that improve Arizona’s water outlook. Audubon is happy to share the results more in depth for interested groups. Reach out to Haley.Paul@audubon.org for more information. |
